LaserMax has recently come out with a new product. The LaserMax Unimax Rail Mntd LSR CL1 IR is a rail mounted IR laser. It is the smallest, lightest IR laser to date that takes up just 1.75" of rail space. You can mount this on any Picatinny or Weaver rail system. The Uni-IR takes two 357 silver oxide batteries with 6 hours of use.
For many this will be a better option than the Crimson Trace LGD-417 simply because it is more versatile with it's many mounting options. Pricing on these units range from $300-$455 from various distributors. No more details yet, but they will be coming soon.
